All cargo wins the award ‘Best Risk Management Practice’ in the category of Supply Chain Logistics

Allcargo Logistics Ltd received an award for ‘Best Risk Management Practice’ in the category of Supply Chain Logistics. The award was given at the 3rd India Risk Management Awards held in Mumbai.

The India Risk Management Awards were instituted by ICICI Lombard and CNBC-TV 18 to recognise companies that have created world-class risk management practices. The selection process consists of analysis of company data, systems and frameworks of the organisation.

Allcargo Logistics emerged as a winner for its ability to efficiently determine risks and manage it at an acceptable level while handling cargo. This award is testimony to the importance accorded to risk mitigation in all projects and recognition of the stringent safety standards followed by the company. Each project is carefully evaluated in terms of financial and operational risks. A thorough strategy is then planned to mitigate these risks. Certifications on processes and activities like ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 are procured from the concerned organisations like BM TRADA, IATA to further reduce risks involved. Best practices like safety drills, manpower training and audits are adopted to maintain the levels of safety compliance at the maximum.

ECU Worldwide Belgium opens new warehouse in Antwerp

ECU Worldwide Belgium has shifted operations to a much larger warehouse in Antwerp. Eurocenter is a newly built facility spread over 72,000 square metres, with a dedicated covered warehouse space of 33,000 square metres.

The new warehouse is conveniently located close to port terminals as well as the highway, making for easy movement of goods. Some of the notable features are:

Allcargo Logistics MundraCFS completes 10 years

Mumbai, April 18, 2017: Allcargo Logistics Ltd, India’s leading integrated logistics provider today announced that its Mundra Container freight Station (CFS) has completed 10 glorious years. Allcargo celebrated this important milestone with great fanfare at Hotel Radisson in Mundra. The event marked the presence of over 300 people including customers, freight forwarders, key officials and personnel from Allcargo.

What initially started with a modest 9 acres land and one warehouse has today been expanded to approximately 16 acres with two warehouses in operation. This, coupled with an enhanced portfolio of service offerings over the years has enabled Allcargo to offer reliable and robust solutions to customers. Since its inception the volumes of trade handled at the Mundra CFS have increased by over 600%.

The CFS operates with the support of the locals around the facility. The officials at Mundra have also worked untiringly to develop the community around the CFS in order to do its bit for the community. They have contributed by way of Ro plant installations in government high schools, education workshops on personal health and hygiene, emphasis on neo-natal care, importance of vaccination, distribution of toys and clothes to the locals etc.
