Powered by the Allcargo Group, India’s largest integrated logistics providers and global leader in LCL consolidation, as the presenting sponsor, and bringing together the entire cargo and logistics fraternity under one roof for the second consecutive year, the India International Cargo Show (IICS) 2023 successfully concluded its annual conference and exhibition from 13th to 15th December. Centred on the theme of India’s National Logistics Policy, IICS was held at Jio World Convention Centre at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), one of the prime business districts of Mumbai.

With the vision to “drive India’s economic growth and business competitiveness through an integrated, seamless, efficient, reliable, green, sustainable and cost-effective logistics network by leveraging best in class technology, processes and skilled manpower”, the National Logistics Policy was launched on 17th September 2022 by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, to complement the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (NMP). The policy aims to improve the Logistics Performance Index of India to top 25 by 2030, among other endeavours.

Carrying this spirit of robust growth, 165 brands from the cargo and logistics fraternity including air, ocean, road, logistics, warehousing, ground handling, supply chain, technology, came together under one roof for the second edition of India International Cargo Show (IICS) 2023, themed India’s National Logistics Policy and its implementation. The event spanned three days, and included conferences and the exhibition.

Mr Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Allcargo Group shared a video message on the launch day, followed by the inaugural address by Mr Suresh Kumar R, Managing Director, Allcargo Terminals Limited.

Discourse focused on growth, green responsibility, and technology

Throughout the event, various panel discussions were held on topics such as the future of the shipping industry, scaling growth across multimodal logistics, transforming logistics with technology, and shifting to greener logistics.

Senior Allcargo leaders who participated in panel discussions include V Raju, Senior Vice President of Allcargo Supply Chain shared insights on streamlining operations and enhancing supply chain efficiency with contract logistics.

The exhibition: forging connections, accelerating business and growth

Spread over 90,000 sq. ft. of space, featuring prominent businesses in the logistics and cargo landscape, the exhibition presented a platform with ample opportunities for all stakeholders to network, showcase their strengths through business presentations from wonderful and innovative booths, and to accelerate shared growth and success.
