Allcargo partners with SAWiT AI to empower South Asian women in tech

As AI becomes a key driver of innovation globally, India’s ability to remain competitive depends on leveraging its entire talent pool and the swiftness with which AI is embraced. By training women in AI, India can enhance its global standing in technology and innovation. To help contribute to a more empowered workforce, we are partnering with SAWiT – an empowering  ecosystem that supports over 1 million women in the technology sector.

About SAWiT

SAWiT, the brainchild of technology mavens, Farzana Haque and Farhana Haque, is a vibrant community that offers unparalleled opportunities for networking, mentorship, entrepreneurship, skill growth, and recruitment, fostering the development of women in technology and those aspiring to join this dynamic field.

Leveraging the power of technology, SAWiT enhances the capacities of women across various organizations in artificial intelligence (AI), bridging skill gaps and preparing them for the future of work in AI. This initiative is powered by tech giant, Google, and IIT.

AI and Women

AI technologies are increasingly shaping various aspects of society, from healthcare to education. It is a rapidly growing field with significant job opportunities. When women are involved in developing these technologies, the solutions are more likely to be inclusive, addressing the needs and challenges faced by different segments of the population, including women and marginalized groups.

Training women in AI can empower them economically by providing access to high-paying jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities. This can help reduce gender disparities in the workforce and contribute to the overall economic growth of the country.
