Allcargo supports Ramkrishna Ashram during the tough times of the pandemic

As a continues effort to help the underprivileged, Allcargo supports Ramkrishna Ashram in Mangalore. The Ashram was in need of help to provide shelter to 62 children who reside there.

Ramkrishna Tapovana a public charitable trust is located in Polali, New Mangalore. The Ashram resides 62 children hailing from economically poor family and are given free education, food, clothing and so on. The Ashram also distributes books, writing materials and uniforms to 900 school students.   

Running such a huge Ashram which provides Spiritual, Educational and Socio Cultural activities throughout the year, requires planning and fund arrangements; however this got challenging due to the current pandemic situation.

Allcargo has supported the Ashram in order to stabilize these activities. They supported the Ashram with Rs.150000. Allcargo Chairman, Shashi Kiran Shetty has adopted 20 students of the Ashram and the support has been on- going since the past three years.

Ramakrishna Ashram have taken all precautionary measures like sanitization, social distancing, use of masks, maintaining hygiene etc. to avoid infecting/spreading COVID-19 in the Ashram for inmates and children. Public entry is very much restricted and only in special cases with prior permission few are allowed inside the gate on certain urgent issues. The main gate of the Ashram is always kept closed.
