Avashya Foundation every year spreads joy in the lives of the cancer patient and their families who are battling the deadly disease. It makes Diwali very special for children with Cancer illnesses.
Avashya Foundation has been working in the area of health, with Government and Municipal corporation hospitals such as NAIR, SION and KEM, in Mumbai, and saving lives of the people. Avashya Foundation focused on Health with objectives of providing pyscho-social care, medicine related support and support for education to cancer patients. Keeping in mind the same, we have organised Diwali party with cancer patients at the KEM hospital.
As every year Avashya Foundation contributes in spreading joy in life of cancer patients. This year also Avashya Foundation celebrated the Joy of Giving on Thursday with cancer warriors admitted in KEM Hospital, Mumbai. The patiends who have overcome cancer shared their journey in order to reinforce positivity among patients and care givers.
The event was organised in partnership with Haematology Department, KEM Hospital, Cankids and Avashya Foundation. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Chandrakala Rao HoD of Haematology Department and Dr. Nilratan Shende, General Manager CSR Allcargo Logistics Ltd in presence of cancer warrior, care givers, representatives of Cankids, Cudlers Foundation and Shreya Health care.
Three cancer patients who are undergoing treatment have been provided with scholarship to pursue their dream of completing education. Scholarship provided by Avashya Foundation gave hope to all children to fulfil their educational dream.
On this occasion, Avashya Foundation also arranged for Drawing and Diya decoration competition among the children. Children took active participation in the same and made it fun filled.
