Allcargo’s initiative of supporting education of backward class thorough its program, Disha, took roots in Mangalore. Total 1500 students were benefitted from this initiative.
Allcargo is continuously supporting people who are from financially backward in many years through many projects like Medical camp, Psychiatric Medical Camp, Life Skill project, Disha Project, Health initiative program and Drushti Project in Mangalore region.
Allcargo is supporting over 2000 students every year by providing them scholarship. This year under Disha project it targetted to sponsor education of 1500 students in Mangalore. The project took place in 2 phases, in the first phase 865 students were allotted scholarship through a Demand Draft cheque. Phase 2 of the project has successfully come to an end with the distribution of DD to 656 students in about 21 schools, with a special focus on Girl child education.
