Para athletes make India proud at the Tokyo Paralympics

Allcargo Logistics, supports Olympic Gold Quest, to nurture India’s para athletes.

Our Indian para athletes have made the country proud at the recently concluded Tokyo Paralympics by winning medals in different sporting categories. At Avashya Foundation, these wins are a matter of even greater pride, since 10 of the 19 medallists are supported by Olympic Gold Quest, one of our partner NGOs.

The para athletes supported by Olympic Gold Quest, who won medals at the Tokyo Paralympics, are:

These athletes were provided with training and competition support such as foreign coaching and training, sports equipment and accessories, wheelchair and prosthesis, and travel for domestic & international competition/training. Under the sports science support, the athletes received help in terms of physiotherapy, nutrition, strength and conditioning, and sports psychology.

Needless to say, this was a phenomenal year for sports. Together with the Olympics, this is the largest medal haul India has ever had in its history of participation at the Olympics and we are thrilled to have been able to contribute to their success even if in a small way. Kudos to the athletes and to Olympic Gold Quest for supporting them in the journey to success.
