Allcargo Logistics helps support the requirements of special needs children in Karkala, Karnataka.
Children are a gift of God and need our care and attention especially those with special needs. However, there are many such children who are abandoned by their parents as they do not have the means to look after them. Allcargo Logistics helps Shri Gururaghavendra Seva Trust look after such children at Vijjetha Special School in Karkala, Karnataka, with the aim of raising their quality of life so that they grow in a holistic manner to become self-reliant and fit in with mainstream society.
These children benefit from the holistic approach which integrates special education, yoga, sports & cultural activities with speech therapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Through vocational training they learn to make phenyl, artificial flowers, candles, greeting cards, mementos, show pillows, soap water, soap powder, pen stands, mobile stands, vases, artificial earrings, show hangings, along with learning skills such as painting pots and computer data entry.
Allcargo supports the school with the children’s nutritional requirements and other staff and infrastructure support.
We are humbled to help these children live a better life and are proud of our NGO partner, Shri Gururaghavendra Seva Trust for the noble deed of looking after these children at Vijetha School.
