Dhamni an ideal village

Pure drinking water is the first need of LIFE. As a rural CSR undertaking, Avashya Foundation has been working with local communities to provide safe drinking water to Dhamni village, Panvel.

It has built three water tanks with 5000-ltr capacity in three hamlets of Dhamni village, located at Choti Dhamni, Aaishachi wadi, Mothi Dhamni, which comes under Maldongi Group Grampanchayat. These entire Hamlets (Village) are in Avashya CCI region, Panvel, New Mumbai. Mr. PP Shetty, Mr. KL Prasad, Dr. Nilratan, Mr. Nitin Kamble, Savali NGO and all community members from these three hamlets inaugurated, pure drinking water facility with an objective to promote better health for community people and villagers. Villages having water supply of their own would benefit over 300 families, ensuring better health by reducing water borne diseases.

Under, School Improvement and Renovation Facilities, the foundation took initiatives to rebuild, renovate educational facilities for the children of Dhamni village and also in surrounding 16 hamlets.
