Foundation of His Sacred Majesty conducted an eye camp at Adi Dravidar Nala Sangam, New Washermenpet, Chennai with the generous support of Allcargo’s CSR arm Avashya Foundation. The camp was conducted with the help of Dr. Rekha and a team representing Agarwal eye hospital. During the camp 331 were screened out of which, 20 will be supported for cataract surgery, 34 will be supported with spectacles, and 30 are referred to higher institutions for further treatment.
Foundation of His Sacred Majesty facilitated the beneficiaries and arranged hospitals for their treatments including blood testing, collection of reports, coordinating surgeries, treatment follow-up, and providing spectacles. The whole activity was acknowledged by the community leaders, activists, and doctors of FHSM.
