It takes just 6 grams of GOLD to lift the WORTH of a NATION

Chase your dreams!

Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, an 18-year hearing and speech-impaired shooter, won the gold medal for India in the 10m Air Rifle Men event at the ongoing 24th Summer Deaflympics in Caxias Deo Sol, Brazil from 1st to 15th May 2022.

Undaunted by all the challenges that came his way Rudrankksh has made some remarkable achievements:

• Youngest ever World Champion from India across any sport

• Secures a quota place for India in the 10m Air Rifle event for the Paris 2024 Olympics

• Only the third Indian shooter to become World Champion in an Olympic event after Abhinav Bindra and Manavjit Sandhu in 2006

With intense and complete faith in his potential, he also competes with able-bodied shooters and scores at par with them. OGQ is proud to support Rudrankksh for the last two years through our OGQ Junior Program. His entire training is supported by OGQ with a personal coach, rifle, shooting accessories, physiotherapist, trainer, nutritionist, and support for domestic and international training and tournaments. OGQ enables us to help young talented athletes like Rudrankksh in their quest for an Olympic Gold medal.
