India’s national karting champion and rising motorsport star, Ruhaan Alva, one of the talented sportspersons we support through our CSR arm, Avashya Foundation, recently achieved his first podium finish at the Silverstone racing circuit in the UK and was also recognized by the Ferrari Driver Academy at the Asia Pacific selection program in 2022.
Ruhaan along with this father, Mr. Umakant Alva visited Allcargo House for an interaction with team members on 17 July 2023. In an inspiring and engaging Q&A session, he shared valuable insights into the world of racing, his training regimen, teamwork, and the skills required for success.
A firm believer in the power of the youth, Allcargo Group’s Founder and Chairman, Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, also met Ruhaan and congratulated him for his incredible performance. Sports is one of the six key intervention areas of Avashya Foundation, and other athletes are also supported to enable them to focus on their game and earn laurels for India.
