Joining forces for a greener Mumbai

Exemplifying the power of community and corporate partnership in addressing environmental challenges, Allcargo Group participated in cleaning up the beach off Carter Road, in collaboration with Swachh Vasundhara Abhiyaan, supported by the Maharashtra Forest Department and Mangroves Cell. The initiative was taken up on the occasion of International Coastal Clean-up Day in September.

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with participation from nearly 1000 participants from 18 colleges, from non-governmental organisations (NGOs), Navy personnel, and NCC cadets, uniting to play their role for the restoration of Mumbai’s shoreline, one small step at a time.

The engagement of students, local organizations, and dedicated cadets underscored the collective commitment to environmental conservation and coastal cleanliness. Allcargo Group’s Chief Digital Officer, Mr. Vaishnav Shetty, and DFO, Maharashtra Forest Department, Mr. Adarsh Reddy, were present at the event.
