Selfless acts of giving are powerful expressions of empathy and solidarity, that create a ripple effect of positive change throughout society.
By giving, whether time, resources, or support, individuals become catalysts for improving lives and shaping a better world. In this spirit, Allcargo Logistics’ team at the Container Freight Station (CFS) at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) organised several activities in the vicinity on December 7, 2023.
The team conducted a blood donation camp, that was arranged in association with MGM Hospital, Kalamboli, near Mumbai and Shree Sai Blood Centre. With a whooping response to the activity, the team collectively donated 105 units of blood.
The team also organised an eye check-up Camp in association with Nair Eye Super Specialty Hospital at New Panvel, near Mumbai. Its success lies in numbers, where 278 people got their eyesight checked.
Similarly, a health check up camp was also organised, in association with Apollo Hospital in Nerul in Navi Mumbai, where 278 people turned up for check ups.
Additionally, the team also planted 61 trees, and the members of the CFS team are now guardians of these trees.
