Envigoured by the Allcargo Group’s core values of Care for Environment and Society, Avashya Foundation which is Allcargo’s CSR arm championed the causes of environment, education, and healthcare, at the 19th TATA Mumbai Marathon on January 21. Over 55 members of the Allcargo family participated in the marathon, in partnership with non-governmental organisations Alert India, Light of Life Trust, and Chinmaya charitable trust.
Avashya Foundation is actively committed to making a difference by giving back to society, and has identified six focus areas for impactful work in the education, environment, health, women empowerment, disaster relief, and sports sectors.
Another similar initiative was taken up in December 2023, at the 8th edition of the Mumbai Sustainability Run, where sports and sustainability converged to create awareness. A delegation of 100 individuals along with Allcargo’s partner NGOs participated in the Mumbai Sustainability Run at the Juhu Chowpaty beach on 24th December 2024.
