For students, school is their second home. Its where they spend most of their time. In such a case, good infrastructure can make all the difference in making education an enjoyable experience. Well-equipped classrooms, outdoor play areas, quality infrastructure can create an atmosphere for success.
With this in mind, Allcargo Multimodes, in consultation with local stakeholders including school administration and the gram panchayat, undertook a school improvement project in Jhajjar district in Haryana. The project, named ‘Improving the quality of education’, was powered by the Avashya Foundation which is Allcargo’s CSR arm, and was done in partnership with Foundation for His Sacred Majesty (FHSM), an NGO that has been working in education, healthcare, and environment conservation.
The project included upgrading the school’s infrastructure, renovating the school building, creating a safe and clean drinking water facility, creating a play station, and providing school uniforms and stationery.
Improving school infrastructure offers a chance to invest in the future of the children and provide a safe and welcoming environment for them.
