With the core value of Care for Environment and Society ingrained in every action, initiative, and decision, Allcargo Group has been moving towards sustainability, step by step with time.
In line with Allcargo’s commitment to be carbon neutral by 2040, alternate fuel powered vehicles have been adopted at every stage of the requirement. Recently, the Container Freight Station (CFS) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) deployed two battery-operated forklifts with a capacity of three metric tonnes, reflecting the dedication to eco-friendly practices and technological innovation.
Additionally, on the same day, several trees were also planted to commemorate the occasion. In October last year, Allcargo fulfilled its commitment of planting a million trees by 2023, to contribute to greening the earth’s cover. All these trees have a 90% survival rate. This commitment has only grown with time, with a promise to plant more trees in the future.
