Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty is the Founder and Chairman of Allcargo Group, India’s largest homegrown logistics multinational with operations in 180 countries.
Over the past two decades, he has spearheaded Allcargo Group’s foray into new verticals and geographies, with over 18 successful strategic acquisitions in India and across the globe. The most significant of which was the acquisition of the world’s leading LCL consolidator, ECU Worldwide (then ECULine), and the acquisition of India’s premier express distribution companies – Gati.
Through his foresight and commitment to simplifying logistics, he has also steered the group towards future-ready digital transformation.
His focus on care that goes beyond business guides Allcargo Group towards its purpose of helping global supply chains, while caring for sustainability. Inspired by his commitment, Allcargo Group has taken a strategic approach to sustainability and aims to be carbon neutral by 2040.
Mr. Shetty serves as Chairman, Board of Governance, IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE). With his vast industry experience, passion for learning, and belief in the potential of the youth, he pursues industry-academia partnerships that can power innovative disruption.
For his contribution to Belgian trade and industry, Mr. Shetty was awarded the Commander of the Order of Leopold II by King Philippe of Belgium.
He has also received an Honorary Doctorate from Mangalore University, has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by E&Y, received the Lifetime Contribution to Freight Award at the Global Freight Awards by Llyod’s List, and been bestowed the Business Today Best CEO Award 2023, among numerous other national and international recognitions.
Most recently, in recognition of his humanitarian efforts Mr. Shetty received the prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava Award 2023.
For his inspiring entrepreneurial journey and contribution to the betterment of society, Mr. Shetty was conferred an Honorary Doctorate, D. Sc. (Honoris Causa), by NITTE (Deemed University), in Mangalore, India.
Mr. Shetty has been an active participant in initiatives of the World Economic Forum, and those of important Indian industry associations like the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and ASSOCHAM.
A philanthropist at heart, he is closely involved in community development and social welfare activities through Avashya Foundation, Allcargo Group’s CSR arm.
Mr. Shetty is also an avid golfer and art aficionado.
Adarsh Hegde has been associated with Allcargo Logistics since its inception. With over two and half decades of experience in the field of logistics, he has been instrumental in the success of Allcargo Logistics’ growth story. Under his leadership, Allcargo Logistics established 6 CFS & ICD facilities PAN India, making Allcargo CFS & ICD division one of the largest private players in the country. He continues to lead the blue print and strategy for the division.
With his extensive experience & proficiency in transportation, he has contributed to the set-up the Allcargo Logistics Project Forwarding division.
He is also a part of the leadership team at ECU Worldwide with respect to driving international procurement initiative and organisation-wide planning.
After finishing his mechanical engineering from Nitte Education Trust, Mangalore, he started his career as an Assistant Maintenance Engineer with Eastern Ceramics Private Limited, Mumbai in 1987.

P. P. Shetty is a mechanical engineer with over 4 decades of experience. He has been working with Allcargo Logistics for 12 years as HR Mentor supporting the development of key HR initiatives such as institutionalising change and performance management system, developing HR policy framework and others for Allcargo & its group companies. He also overlooks the hiring of leadership positions and mentoring the managers in the group.
Prior to joining Allcargo, he has served as Mumbai head for a Pharma product manufacturing unit.
Mr. Vaishnav Shetty is the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Allcargo Logitics Limited Group, a global logistics conglomerate with operations in 180 countries, and one of India’s largest end-to-end, integrated logistics solutions provider.
He spearheads the organization’s collaboration with startups in the logistics sector, leading a new cell for the incubation, acceleration, and investments in startups. Backed by his leadership, the digital functions of group companies of Allcargo Logitics Limited Group, have created industry-first solutions leveraging data science and analytics, machine learning, and automation. He has also been the force behind creating the world’s first end-to-end LCL platform, ECU360, which continues to set industry benchmarks for its user experience and adoption, globally. Vaishnav is also involved in the conceptualization and implementation of key business strategies that further Allcargo Group’s strides towards its business goals and purpose.
Having pursued Economics from Emory University in the USA, Vaishnav honed his on-ground professional experience through an internship in Singapore-based OOCL, Dacheng Law and Stamford Law, London-based Blackstone Group, and worked with renowned global organizations like Ernst & Young (EY), before taking on the mantle to lead the organization’s digital initiatives.
Deepal Shah is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Allcargo Group.
He has over two decades of corporate experience and his areas of specialization include Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, Finance, Legal and Taxation.
Mr. Shah leads the finance function for Allcargo Group, including all its group companies and oversees key functional areas like BP&A, Financial Control, Taxation, etc. from a global perspective. He has been instrumental in enhancing functional expertise, driving business enablement, and optimizing and automating standardized finance processes, across countries and regions the world over.
Spearheading our group-wide finance transformation project, he has enabled the function’s transition to a Centre of Excellence model. He mentors the core finance team to achieve key objectives and guides inter-company collaboration, data-driven decisions, and ease of doing business, to build a future-ready, lean, and productive finance organization for Allcargo Group.
Building cross-functional teams that exceed expectations, he has implemented transformative solutions in team management, IT, strategic planning, business development, and more.
In his previous tenures, Mr. Shah has held leadership positions with some of the biggest entities in global logistics.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds management degrees from prestigious business schools like Jamnalal Bajaj, ISB and Kellogg (USA).
Jatin Chokshi is a Chartered Accountant & Company Secretary by qualification. He has 27 years of work experience in industries like Shipping, Consumer Durables and Industrial Chemicals.
He joined Allcargo Logistics Ltd. Group in 2001 and worked in the capacity of Financial controller, CFO & CEO of a business vertical. He is responsible for managing portfolio, taxation matters, cost control and procurement
Indrani Chatterjee has over 20 years of experience and possesses a strong background in leading human resources for large global companies.
Kapil Mahajan has joined Allcargo Logistics as Global Chief Information & Technology Officer to strengthen the leadership team and create business value by spearheading the organization’s ambitious growth and expansion plans in addition to further powering its digital transformation.
Passionate about Design Thinking, and keen to explore the power of cognitive and AI capabilities to build client-centric, future-ready enterprises, he brings to the table immense expertise in straddling strategic innovation with operational execution.
His rich and diversified industry experience spans supply chain and logistics, technology, consulting, and more in terms of setting up digital and data warehousing practices as well as Centres of Excellence in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Prior to joining Allcargo, he has been associated with SafeExpress and IBM Global Services, and also had global stints across USA, Europe and Southeast Asia for top Fortune 500 companies like Pfizer, American Express, Prudential, Shell, Airbus, DBS, etc.
Ravi leads the overall strategy for the group and also manages investor relations. He brings a unique blend of entrepreneurship consulting & general management experience with nearly 17 years in leadership/CXO roles.
Ravi has been a successful entrepreneur having built ventures in technology, sports and organic food. He has also been an angel investor and mentor for many start-ups in various domains ranging from artificial intelligence and machine learning to consumer electronics and fitness. He also led corporate strategy for Allcargo in his earlier stint and managed business for BMT in South Asia for logistics & maritime infrastructure consulting, catering to both government bodies and large corporates.
He has rich experience in business strategy, financial analysis, private equity funding, product design, setting up new ventures & factories, and managing diverse teams. He earned his B.Tech from IIT BHU and attended a course on entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. On personal front, he is a sports enthusiast, a poet and an avid traveller.
Ketan leads the team managing all initiatives from the office of the Executive Chairman of Allcargo Group, and is the focal point for improving value creation for stakeholders, over-seeing investor relations, and nurturing relationships with customers. Through unbiased engagement with the leadership team, customers, and stakeholders, Ketan brings an inside-out perspective to the business for high-impact initiatives, while working directly on behalf of our Chairman.
He is a veteran in the supply chain industry, with an impressive track record of over 30 years spanning multiple sectors such as logistics, consumer durables, FMCG and beverages. He has previously worked as Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Dart Express (DHL Group) for over 17 years.
